Status: Deceased William A Fistedis	Date of passing: 15 Mar 2023 About our Alumni: William Anderson Fistedis, 64, recently of Hanson, MA, unexpectedly passed away on March 15, 2023. Born November 18, 1958, in Hinsdale, Illinois, the son of Stanley Herodotus Fistedis and Jeanne (Anderson) Fistedis, he lived in Park Ridge, Illinois, for most of his life, until he moved to Massachusetts in 2021. He was a graduate of Maine Township High School South, located in Park Ridge, Illinois, and studied culinary arts at Triton Junior College in Illinois. He worked as a chef’s assistant at several venues. He loved music, and played both the piano, and the pipe organ. He served as the church organist for many years at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Des Plaines, Illinois. He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Fistedis; his sister, Adelene Ellenberg, and her husband Dale, of Bridgewater, MA; his nephew, Robert Ellenberg, and his wife Trishana, of New York; Stacy Ellenberg and her partner Aqib Chowdhury of New York; cousins in South Carolina, Texas, and California.
