Date of passing: 12 May 2011 About our Alumni:Michael was born Aug. 11, 1952, in Chicago, to John and Irene (Wendzikowski) Stynoski. Born in Chicago, Michael was a graduate of Maine South High School, where he met and then married his high school sweetheart, Karen Pilch, on April 27, 1974. He opened a business, City Suburban GoodYear in Niles, with his father and brother. He was an auto mechanic and a marine mechanic. He was presently the owner and operator, along with his son Michael of Ingleside, of Dockside Mobile Marine Service. Michael enjoyed coin collecting, lighthouses and remote control helicopters. He loved boating and just being around the water. He will be remembered for his good sense of humor and for being a doting grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Karen, of 37 years; two children, Meredith (Denis) Hernandez of Round Lake and Michael (Krissy Jasper) Stynoski of Round Lake; five grandchildren, Nicole Stynoski, Dylan Hernandez, Christian Hernandez, Johnny Stynoski and Aiden Stynoski; his parents, John and Irene Stynoski; and two brothers, Rudy (Penny) Stynoski of Hampshire and Wade (Mary) Stynoski of Morton Grove. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and a great friend to many. |
