Field, (Tom) of Park Ridge, Illinois, died peacefully at home on October 2, 2021 surrounded by family. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Rennie (nee Heldak), siblings Bridget (Mark Young), Vincent II, Eric (Susan), Susan Felsenthal (James), William (Lauren), nephews Joshua and Christopher, niece Kaileigh, many extended family members, and friends that became family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary, and his father, Vincent. Tom grew up in Park Ridge, returning to enjoy life in the community as an adult. After graduating Maine South High School in 1984, he earned his Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University. Tom had a successful year 30 plus year career in the car wash business, where his engaging personality will be remembered by all who met him. Tom loved good food, whether it was to enjoy a new restaurant or to prepare an extravagant meal at home. He loved the ponies, and it was at his annual pilgrimage to the Kentucky Derby that he met his wife, Rennie. Tom loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas and Europe. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures of gardening, camping, canoeing, and fishing. No one enjoyed entertaining a crowd with a story more than Tom. Tom left an impression on everyone he met. He will be remembered for his zest for life and the love of his wife, family, and friends.
