One thing really bugged screenwriter-turned-novelist Matt Hader MS '78 when he was growing up and going to school in Park Ridge.

He hated seeing kids being bullied.

His character John Caul has decided that it is finally time to wreak some havoc on the townspeople who've ostracized him for the past 20 years.

Alumni Mini Bio

Matt Hader hails from a large family - he's the 7th child out of 8 (six brothers, one sister). Graduated from Maine South in 1978. As a walk-on, he played wide receiver for famed coach Jimmy Johnson at Oklahoma State University. Studied at The Second City in Chicago. Matt worked as a DJ for various radio stations in the Chicago area. He began his writing career, working on a laptop, while manning midnight shifts as an Emergency 9-1-1 Communications Officer.

Congratulations to Gregg Juhlin, class of 1979. Gregg won two Emmy awards on Sunday 11/6/11. One for, Co-Producer of "Big Ten Football Saturday Pregame",
and Associate-Producer for "Joe Pa vs The Bear".
Gregg Has worked for the Big Ten Network since 2007.
